Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has praised the Lok Sabha Secretariat for its unwavering commitment to ensuring the smooth and impartial functioning of the House. Speaking at the 96th Lok Sabha Day celebrations, organized by the Lok Sabha Employees Association (LSEA) at the Parliament House Complex, Shri Birla highlighted the Secretariat’s role as a cornerstone of India’s democratic framework.

“The impartiality in the functioning of the Lok Sabha Secretariat is its greatest strength,” said Birla, emphasizing the dedication and integrity of its officers and employees. Their tireless efforts, he noted, not only facilitate the smooth operation of the world’s largest democratic institution but also strengthen the foundations of democracy itself.

He stressed the importance of capacity building, adopting the latest technologies, and fostering a culture of innovation to further enhance efficiency and output. “Our collective efforts will determine the stature of the Lok Sabha when it celebrates 100 years of service to the nation.
