Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has greeted the people on the eve of Lohri.
In his message, Birla has said,
“Heartiest greetings on the festival of Lohri.
This festival of harvest and worship of crops is also synonymous with the hard work and dedication of farmers. Lohri is a festival of worship of food grains and fertile nature. I wish that Lohri, decorated with the sweetness of sesame-jaggery, the beats of dhol, the sound of bhangra, brings happiness and prosperity to our homes.”
